Swine Southern Table & Bar

For me Swine Southern Table & Bar puts a modern touch on southern cuisine. The décor of the restaurant is simple with a unique touch of coziness with 2 levels of seating; it is the perfect place to go with friends and hangout.
This time we decided to go Brunch on Saturday around 2pm. We asked for a table for two; there were several tables available (even for the time it was not packed) and we were seated right away. I have to criticize the table we were given it was very wiggly.
The hostess came by several times asking if we wanted drinks (did not order any this time) they were offering endless Mimosas for $19.
For the main entrees we had the Country Fried Bacon and Waffles with Cheddar cheese waffle, chilled spiced watermelon, honey hot sauce, bourbon maple syrup and the Brisket served with 2 fried eggs and cheesy hash brown and bacon.
For desert I recommend a must try. One delicious Warm Sticky Icky Bun with Maple Bourbon Toffee Syrup, Pecan Butter Candied Bacon Brittle and Vanilla Ice Cream. I must say I was disappointed with the Candied Bacon Brittle, they were “tooth breaking hard” with a strong burned taste. But just tossing these aside and continuing with the mouthwatering buns was just fine.
Plain and simple the food was fabulous. We were so full but thankfully the restaurant is located in the perfect place, just walked around Coral Gables for a while and we were able to slowly breathing again.
The service was fast and the waitress was very friendly. Out glass of water never went empty as the server was asking around making sure to fill the patron’s glasses. The manager also came by the table to ask how we were enjoying the service and food. Because of the amazing dishes, flavors, service and style I would rate Swine Southern Table & Bar THREE STARS and will definitely return.
This restaurant is $$$ the price ranges from 31-60. The average cost per person for a 3 course (appetizer, entrée, and desert) dinner without drinks is about $45.
Drink prizes are average around $15.
Would recommend making reservations especially at peak times it gets busy trust me (Friday night had to wait for 45 minutes for a table for two).

TWO STARS: (Average) nothing out of the extraordinary, simple, not breath taking; but would return for a regular meal.
ONE STAR: (Fair) Just OK. A place not worth rushing back to. But, it might have something worth recommending: A view, a single dish, friendly service, lively scene.
