2 Layer Fondant Cake
Ingredients
1 yellow cake mix box
1 vanilla instant pudding box
1/2 cup of oil
1/2 cup of rum
1/2 cup of milk
3 eggs
1 fondant box
1/2 cup of powder sugar (to mold the fondant)
1 chocolate pudding cup for filling
1 can of cream cheese frosting (butter cream frosting). This will make the fondant stick to the cake.
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add yellow cake mix, eggs, oil, instant pudding, rum, and milk.
Beat till combined.
Pour mixture into round pan.
Then place in the oven and bake for 25 min at 350 degrees. Check with a knife or tooth pick to make sure us done.
Let it cool for at least an hour.
Cut in half with a cake cutting wire or knife and add the chocolate pudding cup.
Cover the cake with a thin later of cream cheese frosting (will serve as glue so that the fondant sticks to the cake).
Put in the refrigerator to cool.
Take the fondant out of the box, put a thin layer of powder sugar and start molding the fondant first with your hands, once soft start rolling it out with a rolling pin.
Once strength layer on top of the cake and smooth it out. Cut any excess (save it to make the flowers and bow).
Finish the decoration and back to the refrigerator.
Serve and enjoy.
