On a lazy Saturday I went to a cozy brick oven pizzeria in Miami Springs name Siamo. As the locals say it is a hidden gem. Some of the customers are regulars and the staff know them by name.

This pizzeria offers a wood burning brick oven and the pizzas are handmade using fresh ingredient. I recommend siting at the bar as you will be able to see how the Pizzaiolo (pizza maker) creates and shape the dough by hand, tops it with the fresh ingredients, and into the brick oven.

Appetizer:

Tagliere di Carne (is for 2 people but I think can be shared with more, is a generous portion)

Included a big portion of prosciutto di parma, bresaola, soppressata and chunks of grana padano served with honey and olives

Pizza:

I ordered the Dolce

It was topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, kalamata olives, feta cheese, prosciutto di parma and balsamic glaze.

I was very full and there was no room for dessert but the Tiramisu was highly recommend. I will have to return to try it.

Would definitely return and recommend this pizzeria. It is small and cozy, I felt like I was in Italy. The ingredients are fresh and authentic. It had indoor siting (one table and the bar with about 5 stools) outdoor siting (several tables). Parking is very limited, plan to park in the adjacent grassy area. You can also call for take out orders (on a busy night expect the wait time was about an hour).

Prices for appetizer range from $4 – $17

They have pizza, panini and salads and these range from $6 – $15; and dessert $6 – $8.

They also offer a limited wine list with by the glass and bottle options.
