Tantalize
330 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This is a restaurant in Miami Beach, located right on Lincoln Road. The concept is to indulge your senses and I believe they do just that. It has a tasteful, sexy decoration with chandeliers and velvet accents.
The restaurant is in the second floor, the first floor is for private events. I made reservations however the restaurant was very empty. I arrived at 7:30 and stayed until around 10:30 and is was still fairly empty.
Started off with a bottle of wine $120. The food is a mix of different countries.
To start we were given two small (very hot) cheese breads. Super good, but left me wanting more.
For appetizer started with the lamb meatballs and the octopus tacos. The tacos were small, the octopus was tender but nothing unique. The lamb meatballs were spectacular in a creamy white sauce divine, very strong gamey taste if you don’t like that taste I do not recommended.
For entree I had the churrasco (Argentina) it was so very good it came with a smash potato brick with cheese and green and red tomatoes. I highly recommend. Also ordered the Cuban box (Cuba) our server recommended it came with shredded roasted pork placed on top of smash yuca, delicious, the combination of the pork and the yuca was perfect. Also got a side of pork belly fufu, authentic favor.
For dessert had the chocolate flan. Nothing amazing about it except the little spoon full of vanilla ice cream that accompanied it, that was delicious, with a strong vanilla favor.
The service and the attention was very good the manager can by the table to ask how we were doing if we needed anything and our server was very knowledgeable and explain the whole menu and even made the recommendations.
There is a live show while you eat. It runs every hour or so. It is short about the length a song. First show was show girls dancing, second was a monologue with a song, third was an Egyptian style dance. For every taste but again short which left me wanting more. Ask to get a table right in front of the stage for a unobstructed view.
The prices are expensive ranging from about $15 to $20 for appetizer and $30 to $50 for entrée; dessert is $10; and the signatures cocktails are $17 with bottle of wines $100+.
