Marion Miami Restaurant
1111 Southwest 1st Avenue, Miami, FL 33130
Is a beautiful restaurant, market and bakery, feels like you were transport to France, a brasserie feel in the middle of busy Miami with seating inside and outside. The first thing you see is the gourmet dessert, all looked so delicious. The kitchen is open and you can see the chef preparing your order.
I ordered a Moscow Mule, it was made with ginger beer and it a had a strong flavorful not recommend if not a ginger lover.
Ordered several tables snacks.
1. Pissaladiere which is like a flatbread with caramelized onions and anchovies, this was a weird but very tasty combination it was sweet and could not really taste the anchovies which are normally salty.
2. Pa amb tomaquet a slice of bread with tomato spread and Iberian ham.
3. Piquillo peppers are thin sliced roasted red peppers stuffed with Mahon cheese. I usually do not like peppers but this was fabulous, did not taste like peppers at all.
4. Galician Style Octopus, this was not from the table snacks menu, it was from the appetizer menu. It was very well cook, very tender, made with a parsley sauce.
Ordered a side of French bread, this was disappointing, it was very tough and it seems to be old, it was also served cold, not fresh at all.
For dessert our waiter suggested the chef surprise and he bought this beautiful tray. I thought it was the whole tray but no the surprise was to choose only one.
Great place, good ambiance, nice decor, excellent service although had to order butter 3 times as they forgot to bring it the first time. Prices vary, there is a fixed menu that overs 3 courses. The small snacks are a little overpriced because it is not for sharing.
