Byblos is a restaurant in Miami Beach featuring a combination of Mediterranean and Middle East cuisine. As the very helpful and knowledgeable waiter explained Executive Chef Stuart Cameron used Eastern Mediterranean influences to create an amazing menu full of authentic ingredients.
The decoration is spectacular, very vibrant and vivid Mediterranean colors and light candles setting the mood for romance. The dishes were Middle Eastern style with mosaic pattern designs.
Went on a Sunday evening and to my surprise they had extended the Miami Spice menu during the month of October.
For $39 you get your choice of 3 Mezze (small plates), main with side and desert. Also ordered the Habibi Marguerite with spiced strawberry tea tequila served with strawberries and cilantro sugar.
Started with the Duck Kibbeh, Eggplant Kibbeh, Grass Fed Steak Tartare, Fresh Crispy Squid, Lamb Ribs, and Organic House Labneh. Plus complements of the chef Mixed Olives (two of our mezze got lost but were brought eventually).
Also had to try the wood fired pide (breads) so ordered the Black Truffle Pide it was very tasty and the truffle was flavorful.
The mains had the Braised Colorado Lamb Leg with the Fried Rice and the Turkish Manti Dumplings with Seared Cauliflower.
For desert had the Crispy Qatayef and the Chocolate Mousse.
I had so many dishes that if I explain each would take too long. Overall, everything was absolutely delicious. Every dish had unique and authentic favor with a lovely presentation. The chef dedicates his time to making sure all details are covered in all dishes.
